DINE DRINK DETROIT LAUNCHES WITH KICK-OFF PARTY
Annual Detroit Food Festival Launches With Event on September 29

Detroit, MI – September 25, 2014 – The annual Dine Drink Detroit festival kicks-off with a party presented by Zipcar on Monday, September 29, 2014 from 7PM to 10:30PM at the newly renovated Outdoor Recreation Center located at 1801 Atwater Street. Tickets are available for $15 and include food and four drinks provided by Dine Drink Detroit’s participating restaurants and vendors.
“Guests will be able to experience a sample of some of the best things about Detroit, including the food, drinks and music,’ says Scott Rutterbush, organizer of Dine Drink Detroit. “We are definitely excited to launch DDD with such an amazing party.”

Located at the newly renovated Globe Building Outdoor Recreation Center on the city’s riverfront, attendees will enjoy:
• Slow Roll Detroit (starting at 6:30PM) will start and end here, with over 4,000 riders expected.
• Food will be provided by local favorite food trucks The Mac Shack and El Guapo and the highly anticipated Parks N Rec and Gold Cash Gold restaurants.
• Drinks, including a special tapping of Batch Brewing Company’s collaboration beer with Greenbush Brewing, will be provided by Motor City Wine, Mudgie’s, St. Cece’s Pub, Ottava Via, Mercury Burger Bar, La Feria Detroit, Detroit City Distillery and Johnny Noodle King.
• A special film presented by ASSEMBLE.
• Music, presented by Metro Times Detroit, featuring Stan Sommerson, Pastel Arsenal and Ancient Language.

The second annual Dine Drink Detroit, presented by Brooklyn Outdoor, is a 10-day culinary event showcasing one of the country’s fasting growing food cultures, with participating restaurants featuring signature food & drink combinations, all for just $15. The event will run from October 2 – October 11 and reservations are not required.
